The goal of this blog has never been to make money. For the first few years, it did nothing but cost me money. I started this blog in 2017 as a fun project to try out new things. In an attempt to cut costs, I ended up reduced functionality far more than I expected.
In an attempt to justify the cost to myself and to possible reinvest into the project, I will begin sharing affiliate links which provide me some benefit, primarily a small commission on a sale for that product or website. As of now, this primarily takes the form of the Amazon Affiliate program, but I also plan to use any personal referral links for products and services I use.
You can assume that any links to products, books, services, or ANY external websites to financially benefit myself and this project.
While this is a big change for the blog, I don’t foresee monetization to impact the content I’m creating.
